Arriving just in the nick of time, Arber and Besim collected us from Vienna airport just as their was a suspicious unattended bag in the arrivals section of the he airport. It was closed off as the police invaded the area, cutting it off - no one could get in, or out... Catastrophe averted, we were on our way to Arber's house in Stoob (about 45 minute driven from Vienna) After suffering mild whip-lash rom Besim's rally ...

In addition, everyone else got in line and we shook hands, cried, hugged and cried some more when we bid our farewells to everyone. Milazim (cousin from Austria) and Baci Ramadan took us to the airport where we got on our flight unscathed. I must say, the Kosovo community has definitely emerged ...

    On our way to Prague

A travel blog entry by bigbri58 on May 10, 2014

We could not get the website to work on the iPad so Brian enlisted the help ...

Rust is in wine region in Austria so of course, we had to stop at a wine merchant's for a glass of wine. Rust reminds us of Jordan, just bigger. The old town has three churches, one museum which were all built in or around the 16th century. Our lead picture today is of an archway in the old town, over what was originally a wine cellar. The inscription translates roughly as " ...

    Let's Get Physical!

Our hotel for the next few days is a Sport Hotel(!!) So, we are all on a little bit of a health kick!

The hotel comes with a large gym which is free for guests to use - we took advantage of that alot!! There's also a bowling alley inside the hotel. In our heads, we were imagining a big hi-tech bowling centre like David Lloyd; what we got was a VERY dated room that smelt like sick and 3 VERY old bowling lanes with what looked like melons for bowling balls. Still, we ...
