... road sense. The GPS took us all the way to the Europcar drop off that was very close waking distance to the terminal. There were some small dings on the back courtesy of the person who nudged the back of me at high speed and sped off without stopping; lucky I took out insurance to cover any damage. We have done so much driving in narrow streets not designed for cars that in hindsight I should not be surprised that I would not get away ...

... the basilica, down for dinner, this was basically a set menu
1. Bread
2. Vegetable soup or pasta
3. Chicken, potatoes, cauliflower & beans
4. Panaotta dessert
5. Coffee

Went for a walk upstairs to see the sunset, Tim went down to the street, they were having some sort of youth activity & showing video onto the side of the basilica, glorious night, bed early long day tomorrow.

... that was no surprise. Lovely speeches, huge and many food courses and very nice wine. The cellars had three levels, with the basement having roman bases and carvings. On the middle cellar level there was also the customary table set for Romeo and Juliet in case they called in. Got back to our digs at a reasonable time and so we all scoured our rooms for whatever drinks we had and ended the night in very happy spirits. Found that the wedding has been switched from Juliet's House since with 38 degrees and being on the third floor with no lifts or fans allowed, losing a couple of Nonnas wouldn't be a good start to the marriage.
