... bumped into Edwina and Peter again and stopped to chat. They are a lovely couple, very easy to chat to. Peter is the co founder of Hotel Chocolat so that was interesting to hear about. A Bellini and a Gin Fizz later and we were feeling very relaxed with the world! Hopped back on ferry to travel to Mennagio which was pretty but a lot quieter than Bellagio. Back on ferry again (only about 10 mins each time) to visit Varenna. Shared a pizza and beer before heading ...

It is also ...

The weather not quite so sunny today and Rog has checked the google-machine and has found there will be rain later. We decide to forge ahead with our plans to catch the car ferry from Bellagio across the lake to a town called Cadenabbia, and the onto Argegno for lunch and so that the boys can ride the crazy cable car. The roads between Nesso and Bellagio are very skinny in parts, windy, and only one car wide in spots. I feel my driving is getting better, there ...
