    ... at Muri Moo - a half way house/farm for disabled men and alcoholics with a very nice restaurant. It had beef cows, pigs, a stork colony, play grounds and other little critters. Lots of families enjoying the animals and space. On Monday cruised Luzrene lake on paddle steamer, then we had an escorted trip to Mountain Rigi by Claudia's brother Tobias. We went up in a cog wheel train. Had amazing views, could even see Thomas's farm. ...

    ... little villages both sides of the lake . Up on one of the sheer cliffs opposite is the Swiss cross painted on a massive rock face. Into Lucerne and Mimi gives us the whole William Tell story and the machinations that lead to all the individual Cantons forming the state of Switzerland at the end of the Franco-Prussian war.     ... and a mini macaroon. For those of you wondering if we will return 10 kilos heavier we would say chances are yes! But we figure you can always lose weight, but the experiences and memories are forever!
    We went also went on a cruise of the lake, to a nearby town called Weggis, and then out for dinner for a Swiss cheese fondue which was scrumptious but naughty. Today we got up and had a run around the lake to compensate!
