... until late afternoon when we went on a one hour 'sundowner' cruise on the lake. The views were outstanding. We got a couple of drinks included, I tried the local beer which was pretty good and a local wine, which was ok. Tonight we went to a dinner and entertainment night. ... br> The train was packed with people going on holidays and it was even difficult to find a place to put our bags with all the other suitcases and skis. It was a rather un-eventful trip arriving n Zurich late afternoon.

It’s World Cup Final night and our street is full of screaming fans and drunken revelers. But even the blaring trumpets and double bungers going off outside the window can’t keep us awake.

We’ve had a taste of the city so head for ...

Woke up to sunshine. Started the morning with a quick trip to the old town. Then heavy rain soon convinced us to have a ride in a two-horse drawn covered buggy. Bit expensive at 33 euros but fun and something we had seen all over Austria but not yet taken part in.
