... outlying islands and others vary from an hour to a couple of hours. We didn't want to spend a whole day on the water so we went for a short cruise that would show us the main things. The main things being amazing caves, grottos and islands. We went fully into one grotto, I thought I was over my cave "thing", apparently it doesn't apply to grottos. ... great seafood restaurant today - then to a lovely little beach for some relaxing and sun. I love that we have (so far) done three completely different things on this holiday. Lake Como was gorgeous - all beautiful BIG mountains, lakes, ferries and little villages, Tuscany, well, Tuscan, great food, picture postcard views, great wine, history..., and now Sardinia, different again, rugged mountains, beautiful azure blue ...

... has a gorgeous spanish hacienda feel to it, or maybe Mexican? It has a great pool area and we spent a bit of time there in the afternoon just soaking up the sun and the ambience and the wedding guests. Later, hungry, no hotel restaurant last night, we took our selves out to the Porto Rotondo. Some bloody big, spoiled blokes boats there, complete with staff. Found a nice little bar to have a few beers and then walked to a pretty good sea food ...
