    ... little quite and is suffering from having a very much nicer town in Bon -La-Duc just a few kilometres away. There are some impressive old buildings on the Grand Rue and the square is livened up with a few bars and restaurants but many of the useful shops have long gone. I can't help feeling that this is another once great town desperately surviving. I still appreciated its efforts made for the Camping cars and boats down by the canal basin.     ... of some village before moving on again. We did get to the campsite too early and it didn't look that impressive so we went looking for an alternative and the one we found seemed even worse so we decided on the first one.     ... after some frantic fiddling I enabled another map stored on the GPS and it started to work again. If Ian gets around to reading this when we are all home I hope it will bring a smile to his face!

    I have shied away from mentioning the weather in case I give it the kiss of death but,just in case you haven't guessed from our pictures, we have been very lucky with the weather. I hope it holds for the rest of the trip.
