... to have all we need and once we fix up the niggly things it will be perfect for us for the next four and a half months. Tomorrow we are heading towards Amiens and will stop several times and ride along the Somme. It's great having bikes. You can see so much more everywhere. ... walk but good for the glutes! Prego loved the freedom and the salty sniffs. We saw a network of gun emplacements / bunkers and explored for a bit before walking up to the Cadeaux Lighthouse. Back home for a BBQ shadowing last night’s masterpiece and our first boxed wine! 3 litres for 10 Euros tastes just as nice as last night’s 75cl for 12 Euros!! A washup and shower before Sharpe (so rock n roll us!) and early bed before moving to the next camp ...

... although she had no blood on her, we couldn't work out if there was some animal lying in distress or if she had just woken up the neighbourhood. We then spent an hour or so deliberating and over-analysing what had happened and what we should do. We finally concluded she probably just chased off a cat but bears and wolves and foxes joined the conversation! We managed to lower our heart rates and decided to zip her into her crate from now on and got back off to ...
