So a great Beaujolais, a great aire and a superb beach before we head to Calais to see the vet again for ...

Ended up here agin after inspecting two other aires, both OK but a bit dirty underfoot and one had to pay. This cemetery had been the community cemetery well before the war, with family tombs covered in names and memorials. In a separate section, crosses marked the graves of French soldiers and the occasional German one.

... some cheese , a bottle of cider , tried calvados and decided against a local concoction of potatoes , Neufchâtel cheese , bacon and probably cream for lunch. We countuhed on through picturesque county side to visit Belleview a 6 ha garden just outside Saen Sans our stop for the night the B&B dates from 1798 but refurbished inside , comfortable but nothing special . Pizza for diner because the only restaurant in the village was shut , chatted to a couple of poms at the next table ...
