Our hosts picked us up from the station, drove us to their very comfortable apartment, didn't steal our kidneys (an Alita phobia) and we ate at a nice little Thai restaurant nearby. And then we got the bill. I mean is €50 for two Pad Thais' and a beer really that expensive (OMG) Day 42 (Wednesday 23 Sept) Geneva Geneva wasn't a destination that held a lot of interest for us. After that, we set out to find a water taxi. That was a fruitless journey. After adding a few thousand steps to our total for the day, we opted to take a streetcar back to the area nearer to our hotel. It was time for some rest, laundry, and sleep. Here I don't have much say. I don't speak French so I've just got ...

... walking. Why is it that I had any idea of what German architecture looked like. We didn't really study any in school not to the degree that I would remember it still. It's not like we have any in Canada. Is it TV where would the very clear image come from. I guess it's TV. That just goes to show us how much TV plays a part because it was exactly like what I expected. It's very nice and interesting.

Riley proceed to motion for him to pick him up. He did and to my surprise Riley was content. He proceeded to carry Riley all the way to the apartment and not a peep fro Riley. Clearly we're going to have a talk about strangers!

The apartment was really nice. Seemed like a good area. It's good transit is right around the ...
