The farmers are not happy with changes to the agricultural policy. He made it to the ferry with just 10 minutes to spare! It’s no wonder the French are the laughing stock of Europe. It upsets me to see this amazing country sinking more into recession because they all have têtes de bois ...

It was his first real mountain climb and he wasn’t disappointed, the scenery was totally awesome with switchbacks through the woods at the bottom of the climb before getting ever steeper and slower before finally reaching the summit at 1490 metres, wow what an achievement! We also saw so many priests and nuns in full outfits strolling around. Prayers, masses, rosary and confession go all day every day. You can buy candles that are 2m high to put at the alters. ... tell a better story... We arrived in Lourdes just after 7pm. Our hotel is just across the road from all the action of the Sanctuary. It's a lovely French building and we have a balcony overlooking the narrow street. After dinner it was off to the candle light procession which was lovely, though a lot of standing and slow shuffling for Diane. The it was off to bed in preparation for our 6am start tomorrow. Lots of love from, Diane and ...
