... Georgios Castle but unfortunately it's closed! We then head back to Antisamos where we spend a couple of hours on the beach and in the sea, high, once agai is lovely and warm and crystal clear.
We arrive at the hotel and are given keys for the room next door to the one we had last week! We are still impressed with the hotel and the gorgeous view!
Tonight we will eat at Sunset ...
... from the rain!
On on return to the hotel we sat on the balcony for a little while and then, once again sheltered from a shower! We've just returned from Sunset where we enjoyed a sunset glass of wine....although didn't see the sun set due to the rain!
... motorbike, wearing only a pair of shorts, the obligatory sunglasses, (made you look cool), and flip flops. And then the shout over the roar of the engines, “OK… lets go to one hundred miles an hour,” and we did.. totally oblivious to any of the perils. The wind racing trough your hair, your eyes half closed into slits against the wind…… Ahhh! Those were the
days. Totally carefree.
Back to reality, ...
... one person who went in for a swim.
Then we continued a little further north and found a lovely little cove where we had our picnic and then spent a couple of hours on the beach and in the sea, which was wonderful!
In in the evening we again returned to the Sunset taverna for a very good dinner and wine!
VERY heavy rain, LOUD thunder and BRIGHT lightening for a long time over night! kept us awake,,,,!! ...
... is an earlier ferry that we can travel on, but there isn't! So we go for a short strive to see if there is any where for breakfast and end up returning to the port and using a by good taverna near to the port. Breakfast is good and very welcome!
Afte breakfast w settle down on a bench in the sunshine watching the various ferries come in and out ...
