It was very beautiful and we explored to find a beach patio with hammocks, eskys, fridge, barbeque and beds overlooking the most amazing spot on the island. ... occupy our days. We believe that the islands are the perfect place for this, and it was clear that we aren’t the only ones. We’ve met people from around the globe who have come to the islands for the sheer beauty of the place, the friendliness of the people, the Greek experience, and to lie around for hours in one gorgeous rotisserie. The sky cannot possibly be bluer, the water clearer, the buildings whiter.

... The winds are still high which made for exciting trips on the tender to and from the shore. We are lucky because the winds were even worse yesterday and no one was allowed to transport people from ships to the island. That would have to be so disappointing- not to be able to get onto Santorini.
