... though once again a large chunk of it was done in the rain. We just finished the tour du Mont Blanc - 180km, 3 countries, 9 days! Also some sore feet by the end...
actually it was probably some of the nicest hiking we have ever done - stayed in some lovely hotels and mountain refuges, ate amazing food each day, good wine each night!

... the rain. It was 11 degrees when we set out. We weren't feeling particularly inspired this morning, but it's the sort of weather you tend to get in the Alps! So we hardened up and pedalled off. ... I am told that she is progressing beautifully, snow plowing gracefully down a long, decent green run. Eventually Alexandra and Daniel joined us for a hearty lunch which again, was good quality and cheap. I had a delicious roast chicken with pasta and vegetables, all for under $10.
