... towards Burgas.

We were instantly hit with a massive hill where the Stara Planina Mountains hit the Black Sea, still after the mild disappointment of the Carpathian pass that we had chosen maybe this was exactly what we needed! The climb was initially gradual but became progressively steeper, it also lured us into a false sense of security as we kept thinking that we had reached the summit only to be continually greeted by the next climb.
