31/10/12: I arrived back in Lima on Thursday at about midday. Priority 1 was to clean my very stinky clothes. I walked about 20 minutes to find a lavanderia (laundromat) that was able to do my clothes in a day. I then walked to Larcomar and booked a sightseeing tour bus for the afternoon to better orientate myself (day 1 and 2 had not been very successful) and figure out what to do on Friday. - The underground catacombs with heaps and heaps of skulls, femurs and ...
... Lima just feels like a big dirty city, and isn't overly exciting. There are a few things to do outside of the city, but we weren't terribly interested, and it was good to have the last day there to just do nothing - nothing except finally get the beard shaved off. It cost 20 Soles, and was worth the money. It was strange to begin with, and I had to do a double take in the mirror later on that night, but I can safely say it won't be coming back again any time soon.
