      ... looked over the Cervino Mountain (called Matterhorn on the Swiss side). I was exhausted! That night I had a burger at a pub and we played hearts/spades til pretty late. After I decided to go out and star gaze. Yeo had never seen stars before since he was from Seoul. I could tell he was shocked when we could see the Milky Way. I went out two nights in a row and took some pictures using an aluminum can as a tripod.

      ... of blog entries. And then we are off to have dinner with Gilberto's mum and brother at their house. Tomorrow we are going to Lugano in Switzerland to visit Gilberto's aunt. We will have a pretty early start as the main road is blocked by a landslide from the rain last week, so we have to take a different road which will take a bit longer.       ... August and September of 1944 the Allies took control of the area which saw the retreat of the Germans. It is a beautiful village, lovely stone walls and a couple of friendly cats! We have a cuppa and a chat with one of the locals. He points out a town on the next hill, Tavuillia, and tells us that it is the birthplace of Valentino Rossi.
