Reto & I left Bad Ragaz early in the morning. Together with our visitors from Chicago we took the train to Zurich. They went to the airport and we moved on via Berne, Spiez, Visp to Zermatt. We enjoyed a nice lunch in Zermatt and headed with great view of the Matterhorn and sunshine towards Riffelberg. Just right for happy hour. We enjoyed a drink on the patio with gorgeous view of the Matterhorn and the other mountains. Around 4pm our ...

We were going to go down to Zermatt city, but we couldn't find a route down to the ...

... awesome. The hostel I was staying at was part of the Hostels International chain (like the one I stayed at in St Moritz). These guys know how to do a breakfast! They even had Bircher museli!

    • I went upstairs afterwards and slept a little more (it was still raining outside) and there was no sign of the Matterhorn still
    • I walked to the supermarket a little later on and bought some lunch. I bought I big chunk of brawn and ...

... the system, I am thinking about longs tomorrow! We try some swiss dishes, Rosti, veal snags, clear consumes with dunked cheeses. Will save the fondue for tom. Another day of new experiences to take the cake for the Aussie adventurers, I should say the flag bearer and go to girl who we push to the front when the chips are down is holding up very well. Some days she finds all the touring about, shall we say bothersome but Maddie will beat you up the stairs / steps every ...
