... uiteindelijk hebben we meer dan een half uur gewacht. Bussen opereren hier op Griekse tijd. Wanneer ze zin hebben. Wanneer we eindelijk terug zijn in Aghios is het al 12u30. We hebben dus nog een tweetal uur om het stadje te verkennen. Het is er klein maar gezellig maar veel is er niet te zien. We maken een hele rondwandeling en gaan uiteindelijk nog een half uur vroeger dan we moeten terug aan boord.

Hoewel het bezoek aan het eiland wel mooi ...

... we found small red signs directing us to a winery. It wasn't the original winery we were looking for, but the signs said it was open and their directions were a heck of a lot more helpful than any map we had. So we followed them behind a small town named Kounavi into the vineyards.

At last we came upon a small building atop the vines, where an elderly man missing more than one tooth was seated outside, smiling and patiently waiting for us ...

And I know you think all we do is eat, but the food, on scale of 1-10, is a 10+. It is a buffet every meal! Yesterday we went to the Dicteon cave where it is believed that Zeus was born. ...

... so we will have to have round two of that.

As we were quite roasted from yesterday and the sun was burning down we stayed indoors for a bit doing admin etc. Our rather large dirty clothes bag came to mind so I asked Big Dora where we might do some laundry. Turns out apparently the closet one is in the town towards the beach and according to Big Dora “Must walk, only 20 minutes, yes yes you fine, go go”. Cool so off we set with the bag on our backs…at least ...

It was then time for round one of Aussie vs Saffa Ping Pong tournament – different code but I still won 2 games to 3!!

More roasting in the sun, a very relaxed arvo, dinner then another early night. All this chilling out really takes it out of you.

Tomorrow we hopefully have another game of tennis, possibly the beach before packing up and moving to our originally intended ...
