      ... to be given our new key cards and our luggage was taken to the 3rd floor to our suite. It's huge; dining tables microwave sink (I won't we doing any washing up though!) 2 TV,s 2 settees a balcony and a bath and separate shower. Puts The suite that Bill had in Russia to shame! Went to the supermarket for supplies for our 8 hour bus ride tomorrow and then chillaxed in our suite. Early night tonight as have to leave hotel at 6.30 ...

      ... curious too. Back at the hotel, we ordered lunch. The General Manager introduced himself and sat with us while we ate and we chatted generally. We told him that we want to go to the equator monument tomorrow and he said he will arrange for his driver to take us. He also said that as it's our last day we should be spoiled and he said that he will upgrade us to a suite. That will be nice, but let's wait and ...

      ... a what appears to be the poshest hotel that we have been in and 3 nights cost less than one night when we were in Russia. We have about 3 people serving us drinks, one to carry, one to pour and the other to change the ashtray!       We spent just that night in Pontianak, but quickly
      determined that everyone was either in the electronics, pharmaceuticals,
      or medical business because those three types of stores seemed to

      ... be humiliated. Four ship employees who had not yet crossed the equator were put through the ceremony. Very funny, otherwise a lazy quiet day.
