    We spent just that night in Pontianak, but quickly
    determined that everyone was either in the electronics, pharmaceuticals,

    ... be humiliated. Four ship employees who had not yet crossed the equator were put through the ceremony. Very funny, otherwise a lazy quiet day.

    We keep hearing about a huge ice storm hitting eastern Canada. Hope all friends and family are safe & warm, please be careful driving.

    ... in tour office who called a taxi for us and we went back to our hotel. We had eaten in a little restaurant, but were a bit disappointed as we had wanted to enjoy the view. Oh well, next time, we know where to go and we will never forget the taxi ride!!!

    Tomorrow we are off to Pangakala Bun where we will start our journey to the Taman Nasional Tanjung ...

    ... all comes together even though the soup is on the starter menu..........everywhere on the trip this has happened, no one seems to get the concept of separate courses. There were some other eastern guests and when the kids came onto the buffet they just went for the sweet selection before even looking at main course, so the concept of separate courses is lost to the next generation as well !     ... they are able to show off their beautiful outfits from their homelands, they looked so pretty and you can see by the smiles on the faces how proud they are to fly the flag for their respective countries.
