    Well, I'd psyched myself up to tackle the ride today but when we woke up Cheryl opened the curtains and said "it doesn't look too good out there!". It was raining and looked like it had set in. Plus there's 5kms riding on the road which we weren't that keen about. So we made the decision to not ride. Instead, we walked around the little town of Vac which was a lovely little old town.     The boat didn't leave Budapest until 3 in the morning, there was no wind, our side of the boat faced the street lights. All this conspired to a very poor sleep for both of us, and I feared for the day ahead. Oh, and it was raining as we woke up.
    No fear - the rain cleared, the cycle route was interesting, fun, not difficult, and a lot of the time I was inwardly rapturous with the beauty of nature.

    Today was the final Fulbright monthly event. We met early at the Kelenfoldtrain station, which required a drive into Budapest, and then a change in metro lines but were not the last to make it to the meeting place.
