1.10.14 Lubeck Arrived in Lubeck Germany after an eventful drive from Attendorn as in previous post. 2.10.14 Lubeck Slept the night in our Hotel and got up at a reasonable hour, caught the local bus into the Altstadt (old town) and spent the day in there. Since the 3rd day after departing on the cruise portion of our trip, the ship has been dealing with an outbreak of norovirus - the nasty gastroenteritis (i.e. nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, low grade fever) that has sent many ships back to port early. However the Azamara crew did a fantastic job with containment procedures and only 3% of passengers became sick.
