... to see, but it would be truly impressive in the spring and early summer with the snow melt or after heavy rain. From there we walked the trail along the Koppental Valley that is called "The path through the wilderness". It is pretty level and just lovely with towering cliffs on both sides, plenty of autumn leaves and of course the river alongside. ... over the lakes. Had a bit of a rest at the top, now bathed in sunshine and set off along the track. There was a cafe/bar where there were a group of cyclists enjoying a beer, at 10.30 am. Continued on and came across plenty of cyclists and walkers on the trail. Descent was very steep in a couple of places and very long compared to the ascent, so it would have been a very tough ride. Crossed the main road that leads to another ...

... chandelier. It was so detailed and gorgeous. This palace is basically a museum of Louis XIV's Versailles. Ludwig II may seem quite wasteful when it comes to building palaces. Of course, again, he didn't quite spend much time at this palace. I believe it was barely 10 days that he slept in that fancy bed in his ...
