      ... to run back there so we gave up on that idea and enjoyed the castle we were at.

      We thought we had escaped our traveling bad luck with our trip to Munich but no to make up for our lack of delay we ended up with a two hour delay going home which didn't make us happy since we were already leaving at 8.30, gutted. Luckily we had a taxi booked home from the airport but still didn't end up home until 3.30 am and we had to go to work in the morning. Gutted but such an awesome 4 days. ...

      ... us off around a 15 minute walk from the grounds and by the time we got there, there were plenty of people around already and the world smelt of roast pork. We chose to line up at the Schottenhamel tent which is where at 12pm the Lord Mayor of Munich himself taps the first keg and we can all start drinking. The process to get inside the tent was slow going, but great entertainment was to be had people watching, the parade of women in particular was quite eye ...

      After a nice breakfast in the Park Hotel in Winterthur, the rain starts again... it's only light but there seems a certain Swiss spite to it! Guy decides to take the little country roads at low speeds so that we can enjoy the Swiss scenery until the rain eases, which it duly does after half an hour or so. We then get on the motorway and head for Lake Constance which stands out spectacularly on our left as we approach Bregenz. ...

      ... tour concluded we had some free time before our included dinner so we searched for a hot chocolate and quiet place to sit. Our included dinner followed and we all enjoyed a German favourite 1/2 a chicken each, they really know how to feed you in this country. We ended with an earlier night back to the hotel to rest up for tomorrow, were off to Venice woot woot. ...
