... point to periodically look out the window on my way back, to get a sight of what the parts of Germany that I am traveling through look like. From what I have seen, there a re many open fields, some with dirt, others grass, and then chunks of houses spread around, almost like little villages all far from each other). It's a little town, about 60K residents centered around the university so a lot of young people and academicians. I was expecting more from Brenner Pass, like we would stop for picture taking. No, nothing, maybe there are no sightseeing stops. But the views are breathtaking. Looking ...

Up at 0730 and down to the lovely dining room by 0830. German breakfasts consist of fresh fruit salad, cereals, dried fruit and nuts, and yogurts. Eggs, hard boiled and scrambled, today's hot selection was sausages and crumbed chicken bites. Cold cuts of dried ham and salamis, olives, stuffed jalapeņo , haloumi with basil and tomato. Cucumber and tomato slices, fresh fruit. Soft and hard cheese varieties, awesome selection of breads and spreads. ...
