A nice afternoon and evening with cousin Saskia, Mark Tante Nelly and Oom Henk.

The weather was perfect for a tree top walk and Heather Walk at Het Boomkroonpad.

An early morning start for me to get to Roelof and Janny's place in Gorredijk. Then we were off to Urk, a fishing village which was once an island. The weather was great to sit outside and enjoy coffee and lunch and a stroll around the village.
We returned to Gorredijk and then rode bicycles through the woods and countryside to find a lovely quiet place to enjoy afternoon tea, in the sunshine.

A VERY early start at 3:30am to make our flight from Dublin to Eindhoven in the Netherlands. We arrive and purchase an all day public transport ticket as we have a few different trains to catch to get to Emmen. After 4 changes we arrive (the train system is quite easy to figure out from the maps in the station) but we hadn't been able to contact Oma and let her know when we arrive as Sean's sim wasn't working properly.
