... Del called it Neandathal food - its her new diet, drinking hot chocolate with a big dash of rum, (well steve did) while listening to a local duo with light snow falling on us.... now this is Europe.

On day three we headed to the town of Luebeck 45 min by rail. Great town with plenty to explore but rain, rain and more rain, which drove us to limit our time there but it is a pretty place which deserved more exploration.

Today we got up early to activate our Eurail passes and catch the 9:45am "inter-city express" train from Copenhagen to Hamburg. We walked through the snow to the metro, where we caught the train to Copenhagen Central. In order to “activate” the pass, they have to fill out part of the form. I'm really surprised that the Eurail pass is just a normal-looking train ticket, attached to a form that we fill out every day that we travel. I figured ...

Am 2. Dezember werde ich von Hamburg aus über Dubai nach Melbourne fliegen...
Wie lange ichh allerdings genau davon fliegen werde muss ich allerdings noch ausrechnen, da immer nur Abflug und Ankunftszeit angegeben sind und danach von Dubai ...

Jetzt sind es noch 2 Monate und wir haben immer noch kein Visum für Vietnam und Australien. Für Australien braucht man keins, wenn man nur für 3 Monate im Land ist. Wir möchten aber 6 Monate am Stück dort bleiben. dafür braucht man dann aber auch ein Visum im Vorraus :-S naja, wie immer, alles auf den letzten Drücker ;-)
Wir haben schon die ersten Besucher. Manus Eltern kommen uns Anfang April für 2 Wochen besuchen, sehr schön:-) Die sind noch aufgeregter als wir....

... Hamburg getting a feel for the place. At about 12 I met Lotte back at the hostel for a walking tour. We were met by the guide, Sam, who was also from Holland, and we were also joined by a Canadian, Jess. Unfortunately, because of the numbers, or lack there of..
