23RD SEPTEMBER 2012 - Up for breakfast and we check out of our Hotel Lato. We walk to our car and load it up. We leave Heraklion and head west. Our rooms in Chania are not quite as spacious as those in Zaros. In Zaros, we had an upstairs and a downstairs, a lounge room and an outdoor deck (we were very spoilt!).

So today, as we really don't have space to work except in bed, we are sitting at an outdoor café, overlooking the harbour, catching up on correspondence, bill payments and the blog. Oh yes, very tough :-)
