We left Thira (Santorini) with tears in our eyes and headed for Crete. Short trip to Heraklion by ferry and then a 2 hour drive to Chania. Charming city with a lot less tourists and the prices are more in line with a less popular destination.

... After dinner, we went to a bar near our hotel. The bartender gave us a pitcher of beer to play a Greek drinking game. They were really nice and told us a little more about Chania. Next we walked a few blocks to another outdoor bar. We ordered drinks and sat down and had a great night with some of the Greek locals!!!!
