    ... wide with the walls towering a hundred feet above us in places. The wind blew through the narrow channel along with a very strong current that required me to use 2200 RPM to keep us moving at a reasonable speed. Soon the other end was in sight and we motored through into the bay. We found a small nondescript marina and tied up alongside. We would stay here for a few days and investigate the town of Korinth.

    ... it on one tv after another as you walked. Should have heard the place erupt when Greece scored (unfortunately this only happened twice to the four loud groans when Germany scored).

    That about sums things up. It was seriously one of the better days I've had on the trip, but kinda hard to communicate in blog form. Maybe I'm just tired. On that note, it's bed time for Nicholas, thanks all for tuning in; peace and blessings all around.

    ... Dixie and continued on the long drive, luckily we have Alex Rider keeping us entertained with his antics (we have a box set of the complete series of the teenage spy on CD) I'm sure we are driving further when we have it on just to hear the next episode!!

    So we travelled on past Athens (thank you for a lovely visit!) past the Island of Evia, along the gulf van Euboa and the Vorios Evoikos Gulf through Lamia ...
