    ... amp; Jess hiked down from the mid- station --- originally wanted to hike to a train that would bring us back but there was some confusion about where it was & how long it would take to hike there; Decided to hike back to Chamonix from the mid-station --- we were told it would take 2 hours but ended up taking 2 hours, 45 min; Not an easy hike with many rocks & roots on the trail; Very tired ...

    ... taking for me coming down the steep bank on my bum, not very lady like I have to say...

    We stopped off before we went into the tunnel to take some more photos and a drink. No Queues so we went straight in, they are very strict on speed and no over taking.

    After which seemed for ever, we entered Italy. Again ...

    ... for the photo taking opportunity. I met more people on Mont Blanc then anywhere else in France. Great fun.     ... with beautiful streams. Spectacular! Chamonix is going to be awesome if what I'm seeing is any indication. The man a few seats away from me decides to move to the seat across from me and after the "bonjour" exchange he realizes I don't speak any more French but that has not deterred him from trying to chat.
