... a restaurant that was kinda on the way home, had some wine, wrote this blog, had some more wine (just sayin....in case it doesn't make sense) and a small dinner. After which I decided to head for home. I took a slightly different route, as I wanted to stop at a supermarket a couple of streets across from my home stay (I'm calling it that cause they don't do breakfast and I feel like I'm staying in Grandmas house) on the way I stumbled across the church of St Walburga. it was ...

It’s the most authentic feeling Turkish bazaar we went to.  Plus Urfa’s about to have a huge new museum open.  Both cities have good sites just outside the city as well that are worth seeing. Welcome to city number two, Bruges! Easily my favorite city that we visited on this trip. Whether they pronounce it Bruges (soft g), Bru-huh, or Brugge (hard g), this city is the place for anyone. Small, cobblestone streets lined with tightly-packed Dutch homes perfectly trimmed and adorned with various shrubbery and lawn decorations. We were ...

In Bruges

SOOOOOOO we're 'In Bruges'. ****. Yes. (evidently this is Abby writing, the love for Bruges and film references will make that abundantly clear as this entry ensues.)
FIRST - we got off the train and bus'd to our hostel and i kid you not, Bruges is beautiful, "I know I'm awake, but i feel like i'm in a dream...". So as expected, our first activity was to go for a beer (photo on facebook - "one gay beer for my friend and one normal beer for ...
