Arrivederci Sardinia…

Peace at last...
All the guests have now left and things have calmed down dramatically. We had a few busy days towards the end of last week with lots of boat trips and not much work – but hey, who am I to complain? On Friday we took the boat over to La Maddalena (island across the water from us) for lunch and then spent the afternoon in the most gorgeous little cove – huge sandy coloured rocks and the most beautiful turquoise water. Hot hot hot…
... so fast. Once I got back I dived straight into the sea – so cool that I started and ended the day with a gorgeous swim!
Tonight, the dinner conversation finally moved from curing cancer, directing Oscar nominated animated features and taking the Internet down to an A to Z of 80’s pop bands! Phew – these people are normal after all…

Settling in…
... Preventing myself from putting on a ton of weight is my biggest challenge at the moment! Mind you, I have been swimming quite a bit everyday so hopefully that will help… (Really enjoying my goggles Caro!)

... type of pasta and a million salads and vegetables for lunch every day! Seafood and veg for dinner in the evenings and then porridge, berries and yoghurt for breakfast! Of course there are fresh croissants, bacon and eggs if you’d like but I’ve decided to ration myself to only having croissants on the weekends!
