... decide to head off down this one old section. The road is totally closed and in extremely poor condition but makes for some fantastic photography.

I have a feeling this road down the pass is the oldest route of all three and must have taken some construction to build. Old block houses along the way are still to be seen. These were used in the old days before cars etc. were around for the travellers to spend the night etc.

Today we began the mammoth task of packing and then saying goodbye to everyone as this was our last day in Trentino. I've decided I'm brave enough to have a crack at driving! So I did a little driving yesterday and today I drove us up the mountain to San Martino. Paul forgot to sort out his international license before we left and has been driving without it so I figure its not much different me driving :) ...

... kids ran around in the playground. The playground had 13 swings in it (why I don't know) and last time we were here and Nicolas was 2, he was obsessed with swings so I nearly fainted when I saw this playground and was imagining how to ever make him leave! When some of Paul's cousins kids arrived on the bus home from school, the kids had afternoon tea and a play with them too. We then went across the road to Angela's house where she took ...
