... crossed the Danube by ferry, then headed to Balassagyarmat and the Hungary/Slovakia border.

High above the alpines amongst the clouds, I gaze upon the pine trees and valley towns. Birds echo along the foothills as clouds scoot up the ravine, perched on a granite boulder, I enjoy the stillness. Passing the ridge we venture down through the trees to the distant sound of water. Purple and yellow flowers line the edge of the grassy granite path as we venture upon the mountain ridge towards Mt Chleb. The fresh alpine air cleanses my lungs from the metropolis's stain.
