The Acropolis
... the ruins and has glass floors over the top so that you can see down to the ruins, no matter what floor you are on. Also, the core of the building is exactly the same size as the Parthenon, so the pieces that they have taken inside to provide protection for are displayed in exactly the same location as they were originally on the building outside.

I Can Go the Distance
... Gazi area, about 20 minutes south of downtown. In between, we zigged and zagged all through the city trying to find things such as smart cars, the "happy train," the unknown soldier, and a bearded Greek Orthodox priest. Finally, we closed out the night with a trip back to Halandri for drinks to celebrate our successful hunt.

Well we've come to the end of some very busy and hot days in Athens. Every day we've been here it's been over 40 degrees! Luckily our hotel is fairly close to pretty much everything so we haven't had to walk too far to see the sights.
