... for me (and my jam).
Seven flights of stairs after walking around the city….didn’t love it.
Had purposefully avoided having a crepe for entrée at lunch time – as I planned to have one of my Carrefours bought galettes for dinner….but Mitch prepared a fantastic platter of fresh baguette and savouries (supposedly as a snack) and we ended up eating a considerable quantity of that instead. Oh well – there’s always tomorrow :-)
... and yes – I was a little grumpy. We had tea at the OZ type bar and then got a taxi into town. We saw some of the sights like the Egyptian Needle and many other State buildings.
On the way – it was toilet time and the French are not good with this. Almost 3rd world I think, but with the slowest and flashiest operating toilet we have seen so far with the exception of the Monte Carlo Casino.

... kids bolting all the way up non-stop, every possible rest spot already occupied I was shattered at the top. Happily they have bench seats at the top for those of us that need to stave off a cardio-infarction, not that either of my future primary carers gave a second thought to my health. Regardless no need for coffee today, my heart was well and truly started by the time we were out on the terrace. What a view! Magnificent!

The destinations seemed to become more surreal as our time in Europe came to an end. First we went to Paris for four nights, followed by four nights at Disneyland.
