So after a quick drive up, and after a very concerned taxi driver pressed his business card on us (for our return trip if we decided not to walk down), we were at the foot of the statue. HE WAS BIG! It was a little overwhelming to see the statue so ...
... and moved into an apartment. But he works for her as he takes people out on the boat and he makes the breakfast. But that night they were having a bonfire at the beach, we didn't go but the rest of the hostel did so we tried to get to sleep before they came back. After a restless night sleep, we went back to the beach for a little bit before catching the train back to Rome. We weren't staying in Praja another night!

5 of us went for a little wander along the promenade, then found a nice little coffee bar overlooking the lake. Time for my last proper latte before heading home.
My departure is at 8am - a lot earlier than everyone elses, & I'm the only one being picked up at that time.
Well, time to head to bed - got an early start, but it will be nice to see everyone back at home ...
... we were led to believe was a nice little restaurant - was like a huge unruly canteen. The lasagne was vegetarian, and the glass of wine with lunch was only red wine - no choice of white. At least the coffee was nice :-).
After lunch, I had a look round, climbed up a bit higher, and as I got to the top - down came the rain (no wet weather gear with me!) I climbed back to the restaurant - as we were near the time for coach (& we had a 40 ...
