This is a simple hotel, with simple rooms, with a simple breakfast, that will do job.
If you want a pool, a breakfast with 3 miles and a runaway to put the car...this is not what you are looking for.

... and lakes. When I eventually made it to the canals there were flower markets setup along both sides making it very busy but lovely to look at.
Finally I made it back to the hostel, realised I hadn’t had dinner and found some crackers and my vegemite and had that for dinner as I couldn’t bring myself to walk anywhere to find food! I then packed my bags as I had an early flight to Hamburg where I met up with Merinda for 6 weeks travelling together.

On our way to the magnificent Lake Como we stopped in Milan for a few hours. We went into Milan's Centre, The Duomo. Named after the cathedral that is at its centre. The cathedral dedicated to Santa Maria Nascente, is the 5th largest cathedral in the world and is magnificent. Carved out if pink marble and was when it was commissioned in 1386, the contract to build the duomo had a clause that stated the loan did not need to be repaid until the cathedral itself ...

Finally, we are in the countryside. Nice to be away from the hustle & bustle of the city for a few days. We are meeting with Alessandro Francoli, business partners with Titch Hay & Michelle Cowley from Auckland. We were fortunate enough to be taken on our own guided tour of the Francoli distillery.
