Left for belgium this morning. Just entered the french speaking country and I read about some caves in liege, belgium that I will try to find. And then onto brussels.. an intereting thing in europe is all the public bathrooms cost money to use... here are some pictures of the roads. The sign that looks like a ghost busters sign means theres no speed ...

On Sunday, we embarked on our journey from Kaiserslautern, Germany to Brugge, Belgium. We had a scheduled FIVE trains to get us to our destination. After misinterpreting our first itinerary and missing the very first train, we were able to catch another train to get us back on track towards Brugge. ... in time to see the GP3 race, followed by the GP2 cars. Crazy that the GP2s were so much louder than the now strangely quiet turbo F1s.

The Porsche cup cars then had their race, resembling a demolition derby with cars off left right and centre in front of us. Maybe the most exciting race of the day!

After Andy had downed a Belgian waffle and a hamburger, and I'd eaten some hot chips and a filter coffee (!), the F1s were on. We had high hopes ...

Up and at 'Em, I was SO pleased to finally see a queue for the MEN'S bathrooms and showers for a change and empty women's facilities!!

A nice hot shower, dressed ready for a day at the GP with the sun shining and feeling hopeful for Daniel Ricciardo to qualify well for the race on Sunday.

What I can figure out was this area was originally called Linie van Du Moulin, after its designer, Colonel-Ingenieur Carel Diederick Du Moulin, who built it between 1773 and 1777. It covers 15ha.
