The Fat Lady is starting to sing and remind us that it's all over for another trip.

We went in to the town centre and had a wander round and lunch at Dudok (a version of Weatherspoons) Noticeably absent from most riders of scooters and pushbikes were any sort of helmet which was very surprising.

Snacked up I thought I would try and find the Indian restaurant I read a review of on trip advisor. By this time it was about 4.40pm so I would probably be a little early (but they do eat their dinners quite early here anyway) but thought I'd have a wander about beforehand. So I programmed it into the sat nav and set off. It was at this point that it all pretty much fell apart.

... weeks I will start a journey of three months, to South America. The need to travel somewhere for a long period originated after I got home from Nepal, in December 2011. I wanted to go somewhere new, somewhere far, somewhere with mind blowing nature and a different culture. I wanted to learn a new language. I made a plan. The plan was to study Spanish in Quito, Ecuador, and travel around a bit. This plan grew and changed a lot over the last year. ...
