Bekal Fort - Kerala
... It is one of the oldest and largest fort in Kerala. We didnt have much freedom to choose the time of visit, and unfortunately it was a hot humid summer afternoon.
We boarded a KSRTC bus from Kasargod bus station which was headed for Kanjangad. 40 mins later we got down at the bus stop nearest to the Fort. After paying a small entry/camera fee, we entered the fort.

Crazy bus ride to Mangalore
... tired, in Mangalore at 7 am, and our train to Goa would leave
around 2 pm. What do you do in a city you really haven't planned to
be in? We knew nothing about Mangalore, and were not particularly
interested in running around and exploring the city after that short
night. Nevertheless, 7 hours.
Well, first we got ripped of by the rickshaw driver charging us a
fixed prize of 30 pr for driving us to the station, which was almost
