... menu as goose barnacles in English and thumb feet in French, they looked pretty strange, and rather hard work. I opted for prawns which were delicious... but by the time we had finished our starters, there was not much of the tablecloth which had not been involved in the fight in one way or another.

There was a large TV on in the corner of the room, and there was a key football match on.
