... patio for an hour or so just reading and listening to the radio. Sarah made list of supplies needed, not a lot but we are having a friend round for a meal on Weds and it lamb tagine followed by pavlova, with a glass or two of wine. Also made a small list of things we want to bring home as well. Mrs Fox popped round so she was rewarded with some bones from last nights bbq which she picked up and trotted off with. ... as little as 1hr.....total time would be around 6hrs30mins. Others fly to Ercan...Pegasus and Atlasjet being a couple.....with Pegasus you land in Turkey, stay on board for an hour and take off again. Transfer from Ercan is 30mins. Of course we would come and pick you up as well! Our preference is Turkish to Ercan, we dont mind the stretch of legs in Istanbul and service/food is very good. The earlier you book the less the cost! Ok advert done :) Supper tonight is spaghetti ...

... fix so off they went returning 40mins later with two scoop tub of vanilla and chocolate icecream for John. ... time for bed.

Sat 27th June - Cicadas woke us up just after 7am so time for a cup, of tea and a sit on the patio.Breakfast of boiled eggs and toast plus fruit juice. Suitably refreshed we headed to the supermarket and veg stall to do a little shopping, we tend to shop every couple of days and buy fresh stuff a lot. Came home via the DVD shop after making a few selections. Unpacked, cup of tea and then sat down to watch The Boyhood......a long film which started slowly but ...

... was about 30C and raining for around 10 mins. Rain done we settled down under the sun brolley for another couple of hours before it was time for a cup of tea on the balcony. A small G & T before we headed out to Happy Valley restaurant for a meal. For a Monday night it was busy and we settled doen to peruse the menu.....bottle of Chenin Blanc for us all.
