... here is dark contrary to the beaches in Ayia Napa and Protaras.


The highlight is the beach of Faros with the beautiful lighthouse which was built in the years of British rule.


There is another beach on the other side and very close to this one but when it gets a bit windy it can become dangerous out there.


So, this is where I spent most of my time when here. ...

... stroll I come across tourists popping out of their houses just like locals.

Happy and cheerful young people but also elderly couples who would greet in Greek most of the times and move on.

What a unique opportunity to live in a traditional stone-built village home and settle into an easy-going Mediterranean lifestyle!


The only negative out here is the patching up ...

... This time the Driver had on a local Iraqi radio station for our entertainment. We were delivered safely back to the Paphos airport, and the Driver turned to Carmen and said "See you again next year". As we waved our good-byes we headed into the terminal for our flight back to London, and then off to Malaga, Spain for Christmas. Phew! We had survived!!!
