... mall seemed to be more for the locals rather than a touristy type mall (or at least we thought so!) - just the way we like it!

We checked out the Izutsuya Department store there - the top floor had some very spectacular artifacts, crystal and china, which were not only beautiful, but also came with some spectacular prices!

... picked us up to go to Labo kids meeting at noon. We stopped for a quick lunch of Udon noodle soup (one of Greg's favourites) and some quiet conversation. With so many people around for the wedding it was nice to have Mizue all to ourselves for some quiet conversation.

... woman then told us to give her 60 yuan for her lift even though we had agreed on 6. The drive was only 10 minutes so there was no way we were paying that much money. She started yelling at us in Chinese so David yelled back in English that he would give her 20 yuan or nothing but she refused so we walked off. ... back to home base in time for dinner. As soon as we put down our luggage we headed out for Nagato-san's restaurant. When we arrived, we were met with a grimace and a gloomy look at the clock. We told Nagato-san we could go somewhere else, but he insisted that we stay. We felt awkward by our tardiness and Nagato-san's less than chirpy initial reception.
