... was about 2pm when we returned and they were nice enough to let us check in early. We went up to our room and there we were in for a big suprise. All the hotels we had stayed in so far had been very small. Basically a bed, tv and a washroom. ... there since it was on the way. The one bar that we used to love, called Cocky, was closed, which was too bad because I knew the owner pretty well and I wanted to show off Lane to her. The other bar, Hakkenden, which we used to go to was still open, which I was excited about. ... woman then told us to give her 60 yuan for her lift even though we had agreed on 6. The drive was only 10 minutes so there was no way we were paying that much money. She started yelling at us in Chinese so David yelled back in English that he would give her 20 yuan or nothing but she refused so we walked off.
