Choranche Caves
... a very quick lunch and then headed in for our tour. We were lucky enough to only have the four of us and two others on the tour! We headed in to the cave and arrived at a clear blue underground lake which was quite something. The guide explained that the water seeps in from the ground so sometimes it can be quite murky depending on how much rain they’ve had. Escargots & Grenouilles
... were only a few pullouts so Rod, Tan and I got out of the car and just walked from one pullout till the next. Megs even stopped the car at a pullout and walked partway, too. It had been cloudy most of the day and the sun was breaking through, lighting up the mountains opposite us in a warm, golden light which made everything seem even that more impressive. Alpe d'Huez

Croix de Fer
... up and luckily there was lots of space for both vans to pull over for some photos. There was also a herd of goats just down the hill and Anoop popped down to take some pics of them. We thought their horns were really neat because they had a spiral to them. Eventually the goats decided to cross the road which stopped a few bikes and cars on the way!
