... home. The streets are very busy until late. Including families with very young children who are still out and awake at midnight. I have loved Spain. I made my way on a bus from Barcelona to Madrid. It was a very long day! It went pretty quick with movies being played and naps. The hostel was very nice. A lot of thought has gone into the lay out of the rooms. Something as simple as being able to sit up on the ...

protest got very violent not far from where we were staying. Over 100
people were injured and around 30 were arrested. Firecrackers were
thrown at police, tear gas was used by the police and a lot of tearing
down of parts of buildings and breaking windows occurred. Pretty intense
stuff for an American who isn't used to protests in general! ...
