Taking over the Palace
... años en hacerlo. En fin el palacio estuvo muy lindo e interesante, si no lo han visitado se lo estan perdiendo.
After we left the palace i went to school and it was interesting. But when i came home there was something else that was more interesting. "PAELLA" was served for dinner in my house and it was amazing. I can honestly say that my day has been completed, even though i burned my tongue because the paella was too hot, it was delicious.

My Iberian dream ... 2011
... and are huge cutouts on the landscape. Looks like a few around, so hoping to get a pic. Otherwise, gently rolling hills, with increasing vegetation of fir and oak trees. At one stage the soil on the side of road was quite red, and similar too Australia.
A bit of mild panic again when driver went past the Ponferaddo sign, but no one else was worried, so sweated quietly .... and much relieved when another turnoff appeared.

Hotel Don Pio XII was a typically European hotel. It is located 10 minutes north of Madrid, easily accessible by metro (Pio stop). It is a lovely quaint hotel with large rooms and a friendly staff. You won't find many foreigners here, so it does add to the ambiance. Good for business travel, especially if you need to be in the more industrial areas, not the center. Things close ...
