A bit cooler and rainy this morning. Our last full day in this lovely town. We checked out the fishing fleet again when it arrived - mainly sardines and a few octopus. The guys work so hard taking the fish from huge vats and putting them in boxes, filling the boxes with ice and loading them into trucks. Apparently the fish are all trucked off to Italy for sale as Croatia only has a population of 4.1 million and Italy has 67 ...

We caught a boat over to an island called Sv. Andrija which is only about twenty minutes away. A stunning island with beautiful trees, mainly pines, and a nature trail running all around it and a huge hotel plonked in the middle of it, spoiling the landscape!

Back to the nice cafe by the water, and then walked up to the church at the top of the old town.
David went off walking and swimming again and I did a loop of the old town around the water.

Had a beautiful fish platter for dinner. The restaurants are pretty quiet. It must be hard for the locals when the tourists leave.
