We arrived in this beautiful city at dusk so we weren't able to get the most out of it. Stayed there only for one hour and we spent that time in Parco Civico capturing the flickering lights of the city surrounded by mountains. The view from the shores of Lake Lugano was fascinating. I have really enjoyed driving along the Mediterranean coast, but heading into the mountains again was nice. There wasn't much traffic on the smaller roads and the weather was still really nice.

I found a small roadside café on a hill overlooking the lake. The expresso was good! I sat there for a while soaking up the sun, but I knew I had a lot of driving to do if I was going to make it to Pisa before dark. Still without a GPS but I had written names of cities and road numbers on a piece of paper as a reference.
... a scooter, an old guy falling in the middle of the street with no helmet and getting back up … I mean wow, the death rate must be high! In the cities, like in Kuta, they do wear helmets because the police roams around. I would not dare to drive there, its too crazy for me!
