After the bull ring, we spent the rest of the afternoon walking around the streets of Madrid until we found a nice tapas restaurant to get dinner. We got 12 different tapas and a jug of sangria to share. The tapas included blood sausage, croquttas, potatoes, grilled peppers, salad, meatballs, calamari, battered shrimp and Spanish sausage. It was a fantastic choice, and the Sangria was great too!

Before I left Canada I really didn't know what to expect. After waiting for 2 hours at baggage claim, I realized that life in Spain is a lot slower than life in Canada. Once I arrived in Ciudad Real, where I will be living for the next 10 months, I encountered the next difference, the heat.
