After the bull ring, we spent the rest of the afternoon walking around the streets of Madrid until we found a nice tapas restaurant to get dinner. We got 12 different tapas and a jug of sangria to share. The tapas included blood sausage, croquttas, potatoes, grilled peppers, salad, meatballs, calamari, battered shrimp and Spanish sausage. It was a fantastic choice, and the Sangria was great too!

... and many different plazas. Though it is difficult to orientate yourself as the streets don't really run parallel or perpendicular to each other, they go in any which way. After almost a week here, I can only get to my apartment in one specific route, if not i'm lost.

With classes not starting until the 16th I have lots of time to discover the city more and hopefully get a trip to another city in.
