There was a lot of stairs carved out of the rocks from homes hundreds of meters above water level which would give them access to the sea. ... got a taxi back about 12.30 and arrived into SM, where the biggest party was going on. Thousands of people walking the streets dressed up and bands around every corner. Apparently every year on the 15th August, (it starts at midnight), everyone dresses up for this major festival. God knows where that all come from.
