The drive was lovely even with the rain, and along the way we saw many very old olive trees with very thick trunks. After parking we ...

... permitted. In fact it turned out to be free!!! Eventually we had a nice lunch at a Michelin listed restaurant called Trullo D’Oro. Nice ravioli and veal escallops. Yes we are trying to cut down. Another highlight was face timing Olivia as everyone was at Matthew’s place for Nana’s birthday. Wish we could also be there. Lovely during day but it is cooling down again now.
Alberobello really feels like a fairy tale town or Smurf ...
