The next morning I arranged to be collected by a rickshaw for a ten kilometre trip south west to Sarkhej Roza. This 34 ha complex (originally 72 ha) was built in the 15th century to house the tombs of Mahmud Bergada and his wife. I got a little ****** given that it was ~3:00 am, but I sighed, grabbed a rickshaw then got to the bus station where I am taking a godforsaking sleeper bus to Surat then probably a train to Mumbai after which I will fly to Dubai.
      Kind of frustrated.

We trekked back to the school where we spent the next two hours filling out the forms the office had given us - in triplicate - and reprinting the corrected letters, getting more passport photos of me and the signature of the school’s director.
