... some buses are working. Ahh, you gotta love the unions. (I guess I shouldn't complain) We ended up getting to the hotel only about an hour or two later. Not bad and we didn't use a damn shuttle this time, thank god. Our bags will fit in a sedan so we should be taking that from now on. The streets are nice and small. ... Mon Dieu! I smell patchouli! He was asking all the ladies around is it you, is it you? What are you wearing? No, no I have not smelt this fragrance since the late 60's!

Checked out of my hostel but left my bag there for the day. Walked down the street to a little cafe. Sat outside in the sun and enjoyed my coffee and croissant. Met an older gentleman whose hobby is wine. He gave me names of all of his favorite places to drink in Paris! What a nice man! Can't wait to check out all of these spots!

... you go?? Well find out I guess. Unfortunately Italy have had a few train strikes over the last couple of days. We avoided them in Rome but have managed to catch us on our way to Nice. A short two hour delay at Savona Metro and we are back on our way. Well make up an hour or so by travelling on an intercity train rather than a regional as they are a little faster.
