    ... looked interesting on the map and spent some more time wandering around and checking out a shop or two.  We had some doubts about whether we would get on the bus back.  People were stacked outside its door like cord wood.  We got two of the last few seats and then people just stood, dissatisfied in the aisle as the bus switchbacked its way back down the mountain-- not advised for those with motion sickness or a fear of heights. ...

    Enjoyed the drive down a different side of Etna, again with the mountain side marked by areas of thick vegetation or black rock.

    Late afternoon we walked along to the eastern end of Santa Tecla to see
    what the 4 star hotel had to offer. Quite a lot as it turns out. Great
    location, great service, great views. Could definitely become accustomed

    After a good nights rest I woken up to a breakfast of Granita and Brioche. I believe it has been the staple diet for the whole time I have been in Sicily.
